NOTE: You do not have to participate in fasting. Plenty of places are open during the day for you to eat and drink. They only ask that you not eat or drink outside an establishment. Meaning don’t grab a Starbucks and walk around the marina. Drink your coffee or eat your breakfast inside or on the patio. When we visited, almost everyone we saw respected this.
Day 2:

NOTE: Things stay open much later during Ramadan. Make sure to check opening times as some businesses will adjust their hours during this time.

Traveling with my family to the UAE, we preferred Abu Dhabi over Dubai. There were more things to do with kids here vs. Dubai. The scene was also more laid back. I definitely recommend staying a few days in Dubai to explore, but Abu Dhabi is where I’d base myself for a longer stay if you are traveling with younger kids or teens.?
Please note that this itinerary is flexible, and you can customize it based on your preferences and the availability of attractions and events during your visit. Enjoy your vacation in Abu Dhabi during Ramadan!
